Synopsis:
The Venus Café is a Mecca for the emotionally wounded.

From an abusive couple to an aspiring hitman, the shabby hotel is inhabited by those escaping a past while evading a future, perpetually condemned to a limbo where they are neither living nor dead.

Such is the case with Chonan, the resident of the attic room and the waiter in the café. Simply cooking and cleaning everyday, Chonan is haunted by his tragic past, with no reason to remain in the town but with no reason to leave either.

When a father and daughter arrive, Chonan preservers in counselling the girl to open up her heart and in the process, finds his own heart slowly opening as well.
