Synopsis:
Mid 30's Hyeon-su Nam (Tae-hyun Cha) is a popular radio d.j. and entertainer (who was even more popular in his younger days as a teen idol).
One day his apartment doorbell rings and a young lady named Jeong-nam Hwang (Bo-yeong Park) appears and tells Hyeon-su that he is her father. Furthermore, she informs him that he is now a grandfather to her young son, Ki-dong. Hyeon-su would like nothing better than just close the door, but when Jeong-nam threatens to go to the media he allows the young lady and her son to stay in his apartment. Complications arise when they are spotted outside together and people assume they are romantically involved!

This is manufactured comedy, ugh, not nearly as funny as it pretends to be by using predictably amusing formula editing and funny faces. I couldn't get my suspension of disbelief around the basic premise that newcomer Park Bo-Yeong is supposed to be (My Sassy Girl star) Cha Tae Hyun's daughter. And she's got a six year old son too. What kind of timeline is happening here? The story is so obvious you could turn it off about twenty minutes in and not miss a thing. But Park is, as she describes herself in the film, the "cutesy adorable type" to be sure and I look forward to seeing more of her ... If you liked My Sassy Girl you'll probably like this. If you didn't, you probably won't ... with little margin for error on either end.
